When you are learning a new physics or chemistry formula, imagine you were trying to explain the formula to a friend. Try to sum up the formula in plain English. Could you convince your friend of its importance? How is the formula relevant to life? What are some real things it helps you understand? Make this step a stage of learning with every new formula.
