Practice Items
- Performing a large number of practice items throughout MCAT review is one of your most important jobs. Practice items are assigned in the modules from a variety of resources including your MCAT book-set, other 3rd party resources, as well as Integrated MCAT Course practice items. Not all practice items are the same. The more basic practice items help you get your footing in a subject, and more conceptually oriented practice items help you become more sophisticated. The Integrated MCAT Course Practice Items are comprehensive for physics, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and psychology & sociology, They are of the second type, being more conceptually oriented and more challenging.
- For example, for fluid mechanics in module 5, assignments include the physics cards, the odd practice items from Kaplan or TBR, and the Integrated MCAT Course practice items. A suggestion would be to do the Integrated MCAT Course set only after you've done the others. Build up to it. A good sequence would begin with the odd numbered Kaplan (or TBR) problems and online physics cards then move onto the course videos after you have your footing in the fundamentals. After the videos, perform the Integrated Course practice items.
- The Integrated Course practice items are available as free PDF downloads in the modules and in the subject resource pages. You can print the practice items yourself, or you can save ink cartridges by ordering our affordable, well-designed, printed editions.
