Biology Cycle

• Molecular cell biology and physiology are not 'Science Focus' subjects until modules 13 and 14. However, the conceptual vocabulary from cell biology to physiology presents a significant memory challenge. From our teaching experience, we believe that a distributed repetition curriculum extending throughout MCAT review is most efficacious for this challenge, so we start biology study from the very beginning with 'Biology Cycle' assignments in module 1.
• Sophistication in molecular cell biology is a major figure of merit for the new MCAT. We can treat molecular biology with sophistication in the video component of module 13 because we will have been working on molecular biology for months.
